Nobody on this planet knows or has thought as much about Thundercats as I have. Thundercats: The Move (2018 Film) is a live-action 2018 Film based on the Thundercats (80s TV Series) and the Thundercats (2011 TV Series). “I asked them, I want to rewrite this script with my friend Simon Barrett. “I heard there was a Thundercats script out there and it happened to be set up with some of my producers on Death Note,” the filmmaker tells Deadline. Now, what we do need to cover is the fact that it does not look like this is a live-action movie. The movie is being developed by Rideback’s Dan Lin and Vertigo’s Roy Lee, from a script by Simon Barrett. According to Deadline, WB is moving forward with a Thundercats movie and Wingard has been tapped to direct. There is potential here, and WB thinks Adam Wingard, director of Godzilla Vs. Yet, my Xbox clan is called the Bumdercats and we do use the Thundercats symbol. An ill advised attempt to reboot the animated show just didn’t work for me and by that time I was a dad myself.

However since the end of that initial animated 80’s series Thundercats has shot down in my geek meter. I had the toys, watched all the cartoons, read comics etc. As someone who was born in the 70’s and grew up in the 80’s I am well placed to feel the nostalgic pull of Thundercats. Thundercats, Ho! Yes, finally there is a Thundercats movie coming and it was really only a matter of time.
